I BELIEVE IN YOU

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is one of the most spirited and witty of all Broadway Musicals. It tells the story of an ambitious window washer, J. Pierrepont Finch. With a bucket and squeegee in one hand a copy of the book How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in the other, we follow Finch on his rise to the top.

How to Succeed was composed by Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls) the libretto was written by Abe Burrows and the legendary Bob Fosse choreographed the original production. When the show opened on Broadway it went on to win 7 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book. This classic musical includes the hit tunes I Believe In You and Brother of Man.

Our first production in the 2001 Season features some of Australia’s leading Musical Theatre performers, including John Wood as the philanering company president J.B.Biggley, and Derek Metzger as our puckish hero Finch.
